Résumé

In this research, our objective is to create a guideline that project managers can use in order to efficiently implement their project. To accomplish this, we went over a sibstantial amount of articles that helped us in the building of our guideline. Also, the use of cases from previous research was adopted in the elaboration of our guideline in lean project management. Since lean project management is at an early stage, we found it necessary to build this research mainly on the studies done by experts on the subject. In the end, we developed a guideline and principles where many critical success factors and major concepts in lean management were used to build our framework. These include: methodologies, methods, tools and techniques that the project managers are able to use in order to create value and eliminate waste, which are two core concepts in lean project management. Some tables are presented, which are part of a guideline that helps the project's staff. This research has mmany implications. First, students can use it to have some basic knowlewdge about lean project management. Second, project managers can use our guideline during the implementation phase of a project. Finally, researchers can further this research for a more efficient guideline or a more quantitative one that would consider specific data or the interview of experts on the subject.
